Here is more or less what Wikipedia tells us: In physics, the zero-point energy is the lowest possible energy that a quantum mechanical physical system may have and is the energy of the ground state. The quantum mechanical system that encapsulates this energy is the zero-point field. The concept was first proposed by Albert Einstein and Otto Stern in 1913. The term “zero-point energy” is a calque of the German Nullpunktenergie. All quantum mechanical systems have a zero-point energy. The term arises commonly in reference to the ground state of the quantum harmonic oscillator and its null oscillations.

Now Wikipedia tries hard but it is not always right. I learned a little more about the history of zero point energy when I bought a Chi Modulator the other day. When I used it on my hand I noticed the same kind of sensation and result as I notice with my zero point  energy wand and pendants.

I began to wonder.

Tesla further refined this concept but called it “Radiant Energy.” In our time Tom Bearden has reclaimed the term “Scalar Energy” and refined it more.

Harold Puthoff has recently been popularising the zero point energy concept from his discoveries of quantum science, but zero point energy has been discovered many times before by others such as Wilhelm Reich and has been given other names such as Orgone energy and Tachyon energy.

But in final analysis this energy has been known to mankind since time memorial, the ancients called it ‘Chi’ (Chinese), ‘Ki’ (Japanese) or Prana (Indian). Modern day science is just catching up with ancient wisdom and rediscovering it as zero point energy. Let’s call it the energy of life, as Wilhelm Reich called it, it’s the energy that animates and gives life to every living specie on earth, whether it be plant, animal or human.
